Teach your child to read, new series

I am so passionate about this topic, it’s a wonder I haven’t written it several times already. But it’s finally time and I’m excited to get started.

The audiences for this series are families with pre-reader young children, later reader children and youth, and readers who struggle due to lack of foundational skills and enjoyment.

My experience is this area comes from more than 30 years as a paid, published writer and editor; several years working in special education in public schools and as a private reading/writing tutor, and as a parent whose child did start school already reading and developed a life-long love of reading from the beginning. We love words and ideas at our house!

I hope this can be collaborative. Please share ideas in the comments. We’re better together.
