“Lemon Lush” ~ with real whipped cream

I’m amazed anyone buys “whipped topping” by the carton when homemade is so easy and delicious. Here’s how.

Whip until thick and creamy 2 cups heavy cream. Add a generous 1/2 cup or so of powdered or granulated sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Stir until smooth. Chill and serve over strawberries, chocolate cream pie — or plain in a goblet with a spoon!
